This stunningly beautiful skirt combines a modern European classic silhouette in tweed fabric with oriental cultural design attributes. The traditional floral print being used as trim detailing has been a staple for Chinese artists as far back as the Tang dynasty period 618–907 AD. The prints grew in popularity in the west, over a thousand years later, in the 19th century, when flower prints from China and Japan were heavily used within Western fashion.
